Ford EcoSport Limited Edition (pictured) has been revealed
The Ford EcoSport – Ford’s Fiesta based SUV/Crossover – will be arriving in Ford’s UK showrooms in 2014 and to kick things off there will be 500 EcoSport Limited Edition cars. Ford revealed the Limited Edition on their Facebook page, and just 120 of the Limited Editions are heading to the UK, and to grab a reservation for one you’ll need to head over to Ford’s EcoSport page to get a reservation before completing the deal at one of Ford’s dealers. The Limited Edition will come with Ford SYNC Applink system – which lets you control Apps with voice – leather trim, a set of 17″ alloys and, as Ford say, “Ann array of advanced technologies”.
The Porsche Cayenne gets a facelift for 2015
The Porsche Cayenne is the best on-road SUV by far, and it gets even better with the launch of the 2015 model year Cayenne which gets a subtle – but effective – cosmetic makeover and some big changes in powertrain options. New to the Cayenne – and replacing the S Hybrid – is the Cayenne S E-Hybrid. It keeps the same Audi-sourced 3.0 litre V6 petrol engine as the outgoing hybrid, which has 328bhp and 325lb/ft of torque, and mates it to a new electric motor delivering 94bhp for a total of 410bhp and 434lb/ft of torque.
Slovenia's Anej Kostrevc has been announced as the winner of the Domino's Ultimate Delivery Vehicle competition, launched in collaboration with Local Motors. Kostrevc's entry, dubbed ‘Pack', earned him $10,000 and Domino's has announced its intention to build a prototype based upon his winning design. ‘Pack' – which is reminiscent of the Renault Twizy – is a compact, agile vehicle with multiple storage solutions designed to easily navigate the urban environment while overcoming different weather and road conditions.
